Abstract

Corporate social responsibility has become a permanent element of management and communication strategies in many organizations. It is no different in the case of the event industry, the impact of which, and thus responsibility for its environment, due to the specificity of events, is considered to be broad. The aim of the work is to discuss and evaluate activities related to corporate social responsibility conducted by event organizers and their impact on the perception of events by their participants. Research shows that the scope of activities related to corporate social responsibility during events is wide, however, activities related to ecology dominate. To achieve the aim, survey research was used using a questionnaire on the application of CSR in the event industry in Poland. The research was conducted from November 2021 to May 2022. The questionnaire, consisting of 17 questions, was published on social media (Facebook and under the appropriate hashtags on Twitter).
