Abstract

This paper illustrates changes of exports, imports and trade balance in goods and chemicals of EU countries. Author showed the dominating position of Germany as net exporter in all goods and chemicals. Moreover, the most important net exporters in all goods were the following countries: Netherlands, Italy, Ireland and Czech Republic. Whereas, there were net exporters in chemicals as hollows: Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium and France. A serious problem is the fact that Poland was the first net importer in chemicals and twelve net importer in all goods. Author proved a growth of share of chemicals in commodity exports and imports of major chemical net exporters EU.
