ECONOMIC ACTIVITY OF THE DISABLED PEOPLE ON THE LABOUR MARKET IN THE ZACHODNIOPOMORSKIE REGION

Abstract

We should consider the participation of the disabled people on the labour market in terms of the economic and noneconomic aspects. The professional activity of handicapped people is often their very best way for rehabilitation as well as a great chance to get back to the normal life. Furthermore there is another aspect which matters not only for disabled people, the salary. Professional activation should have been the crucial element of the social-economic policy of the country. The aim of the work is the analysis of the disabled people on the labour market in zachodniopomorskie region. The data which have been used in this work were taken from the Common National Index. The analisis concerns the active and the passive professional attitudes of the disabled people. The very great influence on the quality of the indexes have their health situation and their demographics features. The last part of the work contains features which proactivate or deactivate disabled society on the labour market.
